IV. STUDENT SERVICES ACTIONS
IV.A. Approve the use of Emergency Certified Substitute Teachers for the 2018/2019 school year.
IV.B. Approve request to bid bus maintenance, fuel, and oil for the 2018/2019 school year.
IV.C. Award the bid for district depository services for the period of 7/1/2018 through 6/30/2020 to Citizens First Bank.
IV.D. Approve contracting for a full-time school nurse at GHS, GMS, SGE, HES and GPA for the 2018/2019 school year with funding of $2000 per nurse coming from school SBDM monies and the remaining $10300 per nurse being funded by the district.
IV.E. Approve to increase the number of contracted work days for the Glasgow Preschool Academy custodian from 200 days to 260 days effective with the 2018-2019 school year.
IV.F. Approve addition of Violent Event Response coverage to district insurance policy.
IV.G. Approve contract with Electric Plant Board for district wide internet services.
IV.H. Declare 221 computers as surplus.
IV.I. Approve district applications and/or participation in the following state and federal programs for the 2018/2019 school year: IDEA (Preschool & Basic); State Flex Focus Grants – Preschool, Professional Development, Safe Schools, ESS, and Instructional Resources (Textbooks); Gifted and Talented; Title III - Limited English Proficiency Grant; Title I; Title IV - Part A; Title VI - Rural and Low Income; Community Based Work Transition Program; Title II, Part A - Teacher and Principal Training and Recruitment; Title I, Part C - Education of Migratory Children; Migrant Program Grant; Impact Aid; 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant; Title I, Part C – Career and Technical Education; National School Lunch Program; School Breakfast Program; Summer Food Service Program; USDA Commodity Program; Afterschool Snack Program.
IV.J. Approve MOU with WKU for Professional Education Preparation Partnership agreement for 2018-2021.
