Rationale

Discussion regarding Hinkle Construction to complete blacktop job prior to beginning of school.  Blacktop should be completed during the first week of August.

Mr. Booher presented new Traffic Pattern with visual and explanation including opening/closing times.  He added that he has met with parents, police officers and other county officials for input as to the traffic pattern.  Amanda Dunavent asked why we continue changing opening/closing times.  Mr. Booher explained that it was covid related for the last couple of years.  He added that a survey was sent out to parents for input regarding opening and closing times.  Matters such as jobs, athletics and coop times were taken into consideration.  Mr. Booher stated the times will be published starting tomorrow (7/20) so parents have time to adjust and make plans.

HVAC report from Trane Representative, Trish: August 10th thru that week the high school gym will be down to begin work on bay lighting.  WSHP equipment is scheduled to deliver by the end of September.  As much work as possible will be completed during first week of October (Fall Break). Representative stated the approval has been received to remove tax from billings.  Mr. Hargis Davis expressed concerns about items not delivered or setting in warehouse.  The representative explained that a bonded warehouse is where all the product will be housed until it can be installed.  Mr. Jones asked Mr. Cash who would monitor project. Mr. Cash said that he and Mr. Booher will but that he has not had had the opportunity to review the contract.  Mr. Jon Jones stated that experience has taught him that once a company is paid their motivation to move on the job lessens.  He asked the representative how would BOE know this wouldn't happen.  She stated that Trane's reputation speaks for itself and that the bonded warehouse was further assurance.
