Kentucky School Media Association Award
Becky Nelson will share the news that the Kentucky School Media Association Award for 2010 is Harrie L. Buecker. She and the other library media specialists in Franklin County will be hosting a reception for Ms. Buecker on Thursday, September 23 at 4:00 in the library at Westridge Elementary.

Report from Bridgeport Elementary
Martha Lail will present a report on Bridgeport Elementary.
IV.
Approve Working Budget for 2010-2011
According to KRS 16.470, districts must submit a Working Budget to KDE. The Board adopted a Tentative Working Budget at the May 17th Board meeting which was based on projected enrollment for the 2010-11 school year. The Working Budget presented at this time is a revision of the Tentative Working Budget.

Approve Amended Substitute Pay Scale
We need to add a substitute administrator to the substitute pay scale. The salary would reflect the substitute administrator's certification, years of experience, and daily wage threshold.

Approve CTC Overnight for HOSA
HOSA Fall Leadership Training Conference and Competition: HOSA officers will attend leadership courses and compete against officers from other schools and to obtain the Statesman Award. Eight officers from FCHS and WHHS, and 2 advisors will be staying overnight in Louisville for 2 nights, October 11-13......leave Frankfort on Monday the 11th and return Wednesday the 13th. Transportation and subs will be provided by FCPS/competition funds. Hotel and registration will be paid for with Perkins funds.
