2.1. FCS Reopening Plan
Rationale

Through the work of the Back to School Committees, parent and staff surveys, health officials and multiple stake holders, we are recommending a phased approach to reopening school for the 20-21 school year.

Phase 1 would begin on August 26th with 100% virtual instruction for our students. The details regarding phase 1 and the beginning of phase 2 are attached for your review.  This plan will ensure the safest possible environment for our staff and students during the pandemic.

2.5. Create Positions-DJJ Educational Services
Rationale

Request the board create the following positions:

 
1 Principal (240 day position with 19% responsibility increment)
1 Secondary English Teacher (225 days)
1 Secondary Social Studies Teacher (225 days)
1 Secondary Science Teacher (225 days)
1 Secondary Mathematics Teacher (225 days)
1 Secretary (8X240)
 
These positions are required in order to provide educational services at the Fayette County Detention Center per the approved DJJ contract.
