I. Discussion of Allocation Policies and Procedures & How They Specifically Impact the Band Programs in the District

Motion Failed:  to amend Board Policy 2.4331, Sec. 1, Sub. B, Supplemental Allocation to add "at the middle & high school level one additional position be added to the result of the computation formula." failed with a motion by Mr. Doug Crowe and a second by Mrs. Linda LaFontaine.

II. Approval of the 2005-2006 Tentative Budget
Rationale

The attachment contains the 2005-2006 Tentative Budget for the Franklin County Public Schools. This budget reflects the following: 1. SEEK Funding Increase $524,063 2. Salary Increases 3% $785,970 3. KISTA Lease Increases $118,728 4. Utility Increases $265,000 5. Diesel Fuel Increases $87,000 6. Decrease in Budget Contingency $984,814 This is a conservative budget based upon current information. Two critical components yet to be known are the 2006 property tax revenue estimates and our 2005 year end balance. By September, when our Working Budget is presented, the picture will be complete.
