MOA - Frankfort Independent Schools
Franklin County Schools will partner with Frankfort Independent to provide a maximum of six slots at the Academy for FIS students in need of an alternative placement. In return for these six slots, FIS will pay FCS $30,000 and any additional SEEK dollars for students receiving special education services.

The first reading of 2018-2019 Policy and Procedure updates recommended by KSBA was done on August 6, 2018.

Create Position
Request the creation of one certified exploratory position at Bondurant Middle School to be funded from Section 6 carryover and supplemented by the general fund only if necessary.

Authorization from the board is needed to obtain a Full-Time Emergency Teaching Certificate for the following:

Approve Construction Invoices
Wehr Constructors are recommending approval of the attached invoices in the amount of $138,972.53 for material used for the Collins Lane Elementary School project.

Discussion/Report Concerning New High School Pathway
The board will discuss the new highschool pathway.

Naming of the New High School
We are asking the board name the new High School. Some suggestions that we have received are as follows:
- Liberty High School
- William Cofield High School
- Paul Sawyier High School
- Capital High School
9.
