Chrissy Jones will review the District's ACT results.

III. Report from Hearn at Copperleaf
Rationale

Principal Kyle Sexton will present a report on Hearn at Copperleaf.

IV. Approve Working Budget for 2008-2009
Rationale

According to KRS 16.470, districts must submit a Working Budget to KDE. The Board adopted a Tentative Working Budget at the May 19th Board meeting which was based on projected enrollment for the 2008-09 school year. The Working Budget presented at this time is a revision of the Tentative Working Budget based on actual enrollment of 5993 as of September 3rd.

Rationale

Due to the deterioration of roofs at FCHS, WHHS, BMS, and Transportation the priority status of roofing needs to be moved up. Structural damage is likely on these buildings. The first step is to reconvene this committee.

V.D. Approve Capital City Woman's Club Grant-FCHS
Rationale

FCHS is applying for a grant through the Capital City Woman's Club Education Grant Program in order to purchase music stands for the Band students.
