Approve School Meal Prices for 2008-2009
Food Service Director Geraldine Jette and Assistant Superintendent Charley Preston are recommending an increase in school meal prices. Other surrounding districts are also increasing pricing for 2008-2009 due to the rising costs of food and fuel. The recommended increase is 19% on breakfast and 20% on lunch. Extra milk will stay the same.
Students qualifying for free lunch will not be affected. Pricing for students qualifying for reduced meals will remain the same as set by Federal Government guidelines.
