Declare Surplus Property
There is part of a pond on the property of the new Hearn Elementary School at Copperleaf that poses a potential liability for the district. Charley Preston asked Benny Maffett to survey this and draw up a plat. The total area of the pond and shoreline that is on our property equals .30 acre. I request that the Board declare this as surplus property. I would like to sell the property with stipulations in the contract that a buyer would have to fence in the area bordering the school grounds.
Declare pond and shoreline at Hearn Elementary at Copperleaf as surplus property.
Motion Passed: Declare pond and shoreline at Hearn Elementary at Copperleaf as surplus property. passed with a motion by Mr. William Cofield and a second by Tim Metzger.
