Approve Contract - FCHS Lodging
In November 2015, the Board approved an out-of-state and overnight trip for FCHS seniors to Washington, D. C. Since the approval, the group has found lodging at the Marriott, which ultimately will reduce the cost of the trip by approximately $1,000.00. FCHS is seeking approval of the attached contract with Marriott to secure lodging for the trip.

Approval of 2016-2017 School Calendar
Attached is the proposed 2016-2017 school calendar recommended by the district calendar committee. The committee consisted of classified and certified staff, parents, and administrators. The calendar has been shared with the different constituents and feedback solicited.

Review of 2016-2017 Draft Budget
State law [KRS 160.470 (6)(a)] requires every local board of education receive a DRAFT Budget prior to January 31 for the upcoming school year. The law's purpose is to assure that the board has sufficient information about projected receipts and expenditures for all funds in the entire budget as allocations for individual budget components are considered.
Chrissy Jones will present an overview of our revenue and expense projections for 2016-2017.
Action on the school allocations will be taken at a future meeting.
