Call to Order
The mission of the Franklin County Public Schools is to educate students in a community-involved learning environment that ensures all students will achieve their greatest individual potential in order to succeed in a global society.

Approve Pay Application #1 - New Elementary School
Sherman-Carter-Barnhart, Architects are recommending approval of Pay Application #1 to Alliance Corporation for the New Elementary School in the amount of $685,775.70. The balance to finish, including retainage is $7,732,277.80.
That the Board approve payment of Pay Application #1 in the amount of $685,775.70 to Alliance Corporation
Motion Passed: That the Board approve payment of Pay Application #1 in the amount of $685,775.70 to Alliance Corporation passed with a motion by Mr. William Cofield and a second by Stanley Salchli.

Approve Pay Application #2 - New Elementary School
Sherman-Carter-Barnhart, Architects are recommending approval of Pay Application #2 to Alliance Corporation in the amount of $365,289.11. The balance to finish, including retainage, is $7,366,988.69

Motion Passed: Approval of payment of $365,289.11 to Alliance Corporation passed with a motion by Stanley Salchli and a second by Mr. William Cofield.

Report on Opening of 2007-2008 School Year
Ms. Buecker will give a brief overview of the opening of the 2007-2008 school year and present the most current enrollment numbers.
V.
Report on ACT Scores
Chrissy Jones will review the 2007 ACT results.
VI.
Report from Franklin County Career & Technical Center
Director Karen Schneider will present a report on CTC.
VII.
Adjournment
The next meeting of the Franklin County Board of Education will be Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the Central Office.
