Pursuant to EIS Board Policy 01.45 Board Meeting Agenda, as part of the official agenda for each regular board meeting, the Superintendent shall prepare a consent agenda of routine business items. Prior to the approval of the agenda, the members of the board may request to "pull" any item from the consent agenda and place the item on the action agenda for further discussion and review.

GRREC ED Rank Change Program
GRREC ED is a Continuing Education Option Plan II Program that allows any Kentucky Educator with a Rank III or Rank II to earn an EPSB-Approved Rank Change.
The program begin in January 2021, and candidates in this group are the First Group of Candidates to complete the program.
Each candidate selected a content focus area for their 2-year professional growth journey and engaged in deep professional learning and action research in their current role. They presented a Capstone project that included a Program of Practice, research, implementation, and impact data to earn their rank change.
Feedback from this group has impacted our statewide program to benefit future Candidates and the field of education in the Commonwealth.

Approve Application for Emergency Substitute Certification
Our district is committed to employing the best qualified substitute teachers available. All substitute teacher applicants do not hold Kentucky teaching certificates. Therefore, the Office of Educator Licensure and Effectiveness Division of Certification provides an emergency Substitute Certificate for those individuals. We have utilized this emergency certification process for many years and present this to you at this time as an update/renewal for the 2023-2024 school year.

APPROVE/ACCEPT BIDS RECEIVED FOR BAND INSTRUMENTS FOR ELIZABETHTOWN HIGH SCHOOL AND T.K. STONE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Information pertaining to band instruments was published in the News-Enterprise on Feb 3, 2023, with all bids to be in the Central Office by Wednesday March 1, 2023.
One bid was submitted.
Conrad Music Service - 38 Instruments for total cost of $98,732 to be paid by ARP ESSER funds.
RECOMMENDATION: We recommend to Approve/Accept the bid from Conrad for the purchase of Band Instruments with ARP ESSER Funds.

APPROVE/ACCEPT BIDS RECEIVED FOR HEAT PRESS FOR ELIZABETHTOWN HIGH SCHOOL
BACKGROUND: Information pertaining to a Heat Press was published in the News-Enterprise on Feb 14, 2023, with all bids to be in the Central Office by Wednesday March 1, 2023.
No bids were submitted.
RECOMMENDATION: We recommend approval to purchase a Heat press from the lowest/best vendor with LAVEC Grant Funds.

Approved Revised 2022-2023 School Calendar
Attached is the amended school calendar for 2022-2023
School was cancelled on January 31 st , February 1 st , and March 3 rd due to weather
conditions.
March 15 th was changed to a Professional Learning/Planning Day due to
Elizabethtown High School’s appearance in the KHSAA Sweet 16 State Basketball
tournament.
January 31 st will be made up on Friday, May 26 th , 2023.
February 1 st and March 3 rd will be made up as Professional Learning/Planning Days
on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 and Thursday, June 1, 2023.
The last day for Preschool students will be Thursday, May 18, 2023.
The last day for K-12 students will be Friday, May 26, 2023.
Closing Day for staff will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
Graduation will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
These adjustments will result in the 187-day certified school year being broken
down as follows:
171 Student Instruction Days
6 Professional/Learning Planning Days
4 Professional Development Days
4 Holidays
2 Opening/Closing Days

Approve Graduation date for Elizabethtown High School
The 2023 Elizabethtown High School Graduation is tentatively set for Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:00 am at the EHS Gymnasium.
