IV.B. EHS VEX Robotics Club and Demonstration
Rationale

The EHS VEX Robotics Club, in it's first year of existence, has competed in 3 major events this school year.  The first, December 6th in Georgetown, KY, saw "Team 2400A Line Followers" receive the "Design Award"  that was given to 1 team out of the 70+ participating who scored the highest in the eyes of a panel of judges.  The scoring was comprised of building documentation, uniqueness of the design, interviewing skills, and robot success. This award, along with 7 others given at each tournament, secured a state bid for 2400A in their first ever competition.  Team 2400B made it to the "Final 4" of the knockout stages on December 13th and stands poised to lock in a state bid on February 7 at EC3.  These students have worked tirelessly since October, staying after school and coming in over the various breaks to devote hours and hours to the design and development of their robots.
