DHS Principal's Report
Scott Meyers
Scott Meyers reported:
- 7th grade orientation took place on August 4th and went well
- 9th grade orientation was held this year for the first time, and was well received
- 12 out of 52 seniors are college or career ready. Typically, students who are with us all 4 years of high school are more likely to be college or career ready
- 39 juniors and seniors are going to Gateway
- 26 juniors and seniors are going to the ATC

Heather Dragan reported:
- Kindergarten open house went well
- LES has several new support staff members
- Summer learning went well, but faded off towards the end.
- LES staff had 4 productive professional learning days before school started
