Employee of the Month - Cami Young
Cami Young
March 2019 Inspire, Engage & Grow Employee of the Month
As a Dayton graduate and the valedictorian of her graduating class, Cami Young knew from early age she wanted to be a teacher and she has made it her mission to give back to the same school district that she grew up in. Cami has spent her teaching career here in Dayton working hard to make great things happen for our students. From hosting book fairs, challenging students in reading contests, advocating for teacher retirement rights, serving as various club sponsors such as STLP, to writing numerous grants.... Cami never stops striving to help our students, families, and teachers learn and grow. Most recently she has brought the Books and Braids program and now the new Primetime Reading Program engaging students with their families in literacy activities. We appreciate all of the ways that Cami makes our students’ experiences at Lincoln so wonderful. Congratulations to Cami Young on being named the Inspire, Engage, and Grow Employee of the Month and Happy Birthday

Lydia Workman - Athlete of the Month
Please congratulate our athlete of the month - Lydia Workman. While finishing up both basketball and softball season, Lydia started a new semester at Gateway and stormed to a silver medal in performance in the 55 Meter Hurdles at the 2019 indoor track and field state championships - without having practiced this event. Lydia recently graduated from the Regional Youth Leadership program and is an advocate for students of the GLSEN Club. There is nothing Lydia cannot do! She is the epitome of Engaging, Inspiring, and Growing!
