Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Mr. Alex Laufmann for being our Inspire, Engage and Grow Employee of the Month for February 2019!
Mr. Laufmann is loved by students and staff. His sense of humor, caring attitude and passion are among the many traits that make students and staff adore him so much. His humor, passion for science and hands on approaches engage even the most challenging students. He takes risks with instruction, trying new strategies and embracing technology... and his influence has extended far outside the classroom. He often attends school events and supports students outside of school, such as clubs, athletics and chaperoning dances. He picked up and ran with our new eSports team, with little direction in a brand new sport. The excitement he has for the game and desire to teach kids is inspiring. If you have not had a chance to watch him coach, you need to check him out during our next eSports match. He is all in and has made students, parents and the community thrilled to compete! Thanks, Alex!

Athlete of the Month
Please congratulate our Athlete of the Month - Grace Workman.
Please congratulate Grace Workman for being Dayton's Athlete of The Month. Grace has had a spectacular season for the Lady Devils with 30 points against Bellevue and most recently scoring her 1000th career point. Grace is also a standout softball player who has verbally committed to Thomas More to continue her softball career. Great job, Grace!!
4.E.
Artist of the Month
Please congratulate the Artist of the Month - Piper Motyka.
Piper Motyka is an active member of Art Club and works independently to improve her skills at drawing and painting. Piper has already developed a style and her passion for art is contagious. She inspires others around her to achieve more and shows great promise as an artist. She comes to me at least twice a week to show me what she has been working on at home. Just last week she made her own sketchbook, stitched together several signatures, very impressive.
