Noelle discussed her board report and noted that the College and/or Career Readiness numbers are up, the Volleyball River City Classic Tournament is October 1st, Seniors will be painting the underpass on October 15th, and Seniors are working on fundraising for their class trip to NYC.

Mr. Kellinghaus noted that 10 students have been referred to the SAT (student assistance team) mentor program, the Special Education failure report shows that the average failure rate went from 41.2% in 2013-14 to 23% in 2015-16, 45 seniors took the KYOTE test on September 22nd, and our teachers/staff have documented 719 parent phone calls in PLP so far this year.

Mrs. Dragan noted that K-6 students just finished MAP testing, all Kindergarten students have completed their state required Brigance testing, and they are currently working to get the PTC (Parent Teacher Committee) active again at Lincoln.

Mr. Wolf noted that we have had 2 Early Release Meetings that have focused on vertical curriculum alignment, the School Report Card will be released tonight at midnight with some exciting news for our District, and on September 12th our new teachers attended their first Regional New Teacher PLC.

Mr. Kinmon noted that attendance is at 889 and enrollment is up in both buildings.  He also mentioned that the new DHS renovation bids are due October 11th.

Mrs. Howell noted that the Book a Week program is off to a great start again this year.  She also mentioned there are currently 94 Preschool students, 20 Headstart students, and 14 children at the Daycare.

Mr. Brewer noted that we are now serving dinners at Lincoln, we are getting new tables for the LES cafeteria, and we received a grant to purchase new combi ovens.
