This hearing is regarding setting the tax rate for the 2021-2022 school year. The proposal is to set tax rate for the school year (2021 taxes) at the same rate as last year:
General Fund Real Estate Rate: 74.7 cents
Tangible Personal Property 74.7 cents
Merchants Inventory 74.7 cents
Motor Vehicle/Watercraft 68.7
Personal Aircraft 68.7
Utility tax 3%.
These proposed 2021 tax rates as listed above is expected to produce just over $536,147.39

At this time we will open the floor for anyone interested in speaking regarding the tax rate. Please keep in mind, the tax rate proposed is not a tax increase but keeps the rate the same as the current rate.
