Rationale

An Ordinance annexing the property located at 2101 and 2115 East Parrish Avenue containing a total of 1.515 acres. There will be an annexation incentive agreement for the property.

Rationale

E & S Developers, LLC have consented to the annexation of the property located at 2101and 2115 East Parrish Avenue, containing a total of 1.515 acres. The Order sets forth the terms and conditions of the annexation incentive.

Rationale

Owensboro Grain Company, LLC desires to apply for funds in the amount of Ten Million Seven Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($10,766,250.00) from FEMA so that it can construct a 1400’ sheet pile wall on the south bank of the Ohio River to ensure the continued stability of its facilities. The City of Owensboro will have no obligations concerning the application for funds or for the project and its costs.

Rationale

The City owns certain real property located at 1539 West 1st Street containing 0.061 acres, more or less; and now desires to declare this property to be surplus property, so it can be sold to PP&C Residential Properties, LLC for economic development purposes in accordance with KRS 82.083(4)(b).

Rationale

Members of the audience are invited to address the City Commission on any matter of public concern that was not on tonight’s agenda.  Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of this Commission.  Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers. 

At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized.  Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less.  Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from City staff or the Commission.  The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
