Consider Ordinance 03-2022 entitled AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED NORTH OF EAST 20TH STREET AND BEHIND 1924, 1926 AND 1928 TRIPLETT STREET IN THE CITY OF OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY.
The City desires to close an alley right-of-way located north of East 20th Street and behind 1924, 1926 and 1928 Triplett Street. All abutting and adjoining property owners have consented to the closing.

Consider Municipal Order 07-2022 entitled A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN HYDROPLANE EVENTS, LLC, PROVIDING FOR A HYDROPLANE RACING EVENT IN OWENSBORO IN 2022.
The City has negotiated with American Hydroplane Events, LLC to provide a hydroplane racing event August 19-21, 2022. This order authorizes the agreement and details thereof.

OPEN PUBLIC FORUM
Members of the audience are invited to address the City Commission on any matter of public concern that was not on tonight’s agenda. Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of this Commission. Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers.
At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized. Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less. Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from City staff or the Commission. The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
