Consider Ordinance 2-2019 entitled AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE DAVIESS COUNTY FISCAL COURT COUNTY-WIDE ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE, KOC 1010.6 (2013).
The City has authorized the creation of a dog park. Therefore, the City wishes to adopt by reference the amended Daviess County Animal Control Ordinance, KOC 1010.6 (2013), but specifically retain the provisions in Article I of Chapter 4 and Article I, Section 19-6 of Chapter 19 of the Owensboro Municipal Code.

Consider Ordinance 3-2019 entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE I, SECTION 19-6 OF THE OWENSBORO MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADDRESS THE PHYSICAL CONTROL OF DOGS WITHIN THE NEW DOG PARK.
The City has authorized the creation of a dog park, therefore, the City parks ordinance is being updated to accommodate an off leash area within a city park.

OPEN PUBLIC FORUM
Members of the audience are invited to address the City Commission on any matter of public concern that was not on tonight’s agenda. Comments are limited to issues within the scope and responsibility of this Commission. Commission meetings are held to conduct city business for the benefit of Owensboro citizens and taxpayers.
At this time, anyone who wishes to address the City Commission please make their way to the podium to be recognized. Speakers must state their name and address for the Clerk’s record, and limit their remarks to three (3) minutes or less. Since the item is not on the agenda, no response is required from City staff or the Commission. The Mayor reserves the right to extend time to the speaker.
