VII.B. Road Committee - Equipment Purchase

Motion Passed:  Motion to authorize purchase of a Mow/Trim and to authorize the Treasurer to borrow the money to purchase, to be paid back with the surplus equipment sale money and the 1st FEMA Payment passed with a motion by Jason Bullock and a second by Michael McKenney.

Discussion

Larry Morphew asked about the interest rate, judge stated that it as 4.999%.

Jason Bullock stated that he thought it would be good to set a Road Committee Meeting for 4:00 p.m. on October 14, 2025 prior to Fiscal Court Meeting.  It was agreed and the Judge announced said meeting.


VII.C. Road Committee Viewing Report - Tucker Hollow
Actions Taken

Motion Passed:  Motion to take in Tucker Hollow Road, up to the last dwelling, (to the half) as a low maintenance road in order to obtain a utility easement passed with a motion by Michael McKenney and a second by Jason Bullock.

Discussion

Michael McKenney stated that he had been contacted about extending the waterline for citizens on that road, so he was making a motion to take in as a low maintenance road, solely in order to obtain a utility easement to extend the waterline.
