Discussion

Darren Luttrell gave an update on all Ohio County gatherings and events associated with the Ohio County Conservation District including but not limited to Youth Ag Days and Arbor Day tree give away.

XI. Rough River Clean Up Site 11 Amendment
Actions Taken

Motion Passed:  Approved to amend the November 15, 2022 Fiscal Court Meeting minutes in which a bid from Kyle Addingtion for the Site 11 Rough River Cleanup was overlooked and left out of accepted bids at the time. Authorize County Treasurer to issue check for awarded bid for site 11 in the amount of $34,600.00 passed with a motion by Larry Morphew and a second by Jason Bullock.

The Fiscal Court discussed the need to advertise for the Ordinance will all roads listed along with maps. This Ordinance will be addressed again at the next Fiscal Court Meeting April 11, 2023 at 5:00pm. There will be an ATV Committee meeting at 4:00pm April 11, 2023 in the Fiscal Court Room.

XIV. Ordinance 2023-9 Administrative Code Amendment
Actions Taken

Motion Passed:  Approved first reading of Ordinance 2023-9 Administrative Code Amendment. Approving the following changes...The Judge Executive is allowed to order employees to leave work in cases of an emergency. Example: Tornado, building bomb threat or where an employee's presence in the building or area puts them in eminent danger. If an employee is ordered to leave then time shall be paid as if they worked their regular schedule for that day passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Jason Bullock.

Discussion

The Ohio County Park gave their quarterly A.R.P.A. update for to the court going over all upcoming events.

Motion Passed:  Approved appointment of John Cashion to the Ohio County Library Board term to expire June 30, 2024 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved Park new hire of David bullock as full time maintenance at $14.39 per hour effective March 26, 2023 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Discussion

Citizen Terry Fulkeburg addressed the Fiscal Court on the All terrain vehicle ordinance proposal. Individual was unhappy with the idea given he and his wife have had an issue with individuals at all times of day and night speeding on ATV's on their road in the past. Fiscal Court urged citizen to come to the April 11, 2023 4:00pm Committee meeting.
