• Likens contract

Motion Passed:  Authorize County Treasurer to issue check(s) to Likens Plumbing for 3rd floor Holding Cell Bathrooms (A.O.C. funded) as follows: 1st check totaling $6,000 at beginning of project, 2nd check totaling $6,000 at a time when the contract is at least 50% complete and final payment of $6,000 upon completion of project. Work to be inspected and approved by Judge Executive, David Johnston. Contract has been signed by both parties. Contract prepared by County Attorney, Justin Keown passed with a motion by Larry Morphew and a second by Jason Bullock.

Motion Passed:  Approved to donate $6000 total to the Ohio County Honor Guard toward the purchase of a new vehicle. $1000 to come from each district and Judge Executive with districts 1 and 2 having already donated $500 each to donate an additional $500 to equal $6000 from the Fiscal Court. Authorize County Treasurer to issue check passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Larry Morphew.

Presentation to the Fiscal Court on collecting uncollected Occupational Tax monies for the county backdating 5 years. Service offered would cost 40% of findings. Any findings in the next Fiscal Year would go 100% to the County. If no funds were found there would be no charge. Magistrate Sam Small is to work with Charlotte Jones, Occupational Tax Administrator to determine what would work best for the county concerning these services.

• Ordinance 2019-1 Animal Control Amended

Dr. Coy Sinclair voiced his worries on management of the Ohio County Animal Shelter when working with the Humane Society.

Motion Passed:  Approved tri-axle dump truck bid from World Wide Equipment in the amount of $151,988.00. Authorize County Treasurer to issue check(s) passed with a motion by Joe Barnes and a second by Larry Keown.

Motion Passed:  Approved Resolution 2019-1 for Nineteen School Road and agreement for resurfacing in the amount of $198,693.00. Authorize Judge Executive to sign all corresponding documentation passed with a motion by Joe Barnes and a second by Larry Morphew.

Motion Passed:  Approved to enter into Closed Session Under KRS 61.810 Chapter 1 Section F passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Larry Morphew.
