Motion Passed:  Accept recommendation for 2019 Rural Secondary Program funds of $933,769 as presented by Kentucky Department of Transportation and to exclude Flex Funds of $317,128 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Joe Barnes.

Motion Passed:  Appoint to Ohio County Airport Board - Travis Wilson (4 year term) which will replace Corey Render (resigned) passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Hire Kenneth Hill, Maintenance/Custodian part time, pay rate $10 per hour effective 04/25/2018 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Hire James Basham, Park, seasonal, pay rate $8.68 per hour effective 08/25/2018 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Hire Samantha Leach, Golf Course, seasonal, pay rate $7.25 per hour effective 04/25/2018 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Set 2018 Elected Officials Wage per KRS 64.530 as follows: Magistrates $12,652.20 annually, County Attorney $11,253.00 annually, Coroner $13,161.00 annually and Jailer $66,830.00 annually which are subject to adjustment annually using the C.P.I. Index passed with a motion by Joe Barnes and a second by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Accept into the County Road System - John Boy Lane .2278 tenths of a mile (4 houses) with all easements and petitions having been signed passed with a motion by Larry Morphew and a second by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Accept into the County Road System - Meadow Lane .08 of a mile (3 houses) and Lark Lane .144 tenths of a mile (6 houses) with all easements and petitions having been signed passed with a motion by Larry Morphew and a second by Larry Keown.

Recommendations to the Animal Control Ordinance will be made at the next Fiscal Court Meeting.

There will be a Road Committee Meeting May 8, 2018 at 4 pm concerning Flex money. 

Magistrate Joe Barnes requested that repairs to the Regioinal Fire Training Center, located in Beaver Dam, be considered for the next cycle of Coal Severance Money.

Magistrate Larry Keown reported on dangerous pothole issues on Herbert Road.

Magistrate Larry Morphew requested information on funding for Shultz Town Road.
