Motion Passed:  Approved the first reading of Ordinance 2018-2 Budget Amendment passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Jason Bullock.

Viewing Committee appointed for Brownd Lane Extension - Road Supervisor, Keith Nelson, Marty Tichenor, Chase Vincent.

Motion Passed:  Approved to place Lexon Lane in the county road system. Lexon Lane is apx 300' and has 4 houses. Viewing Committee report is complete and has been submitted passed with a motion by Sam Small and a second by Larry Keown.

Motion Passed:  Approved Resolution 2018-16 for the Ohio County Trails Extension Project ($65,000) passed with a motion by Sam Small and a second by Joe Barnes.

Motion Passed:  Approved adding a Maintenance II Category to the Wage Scale. Hire Rate $12, Level 1 $12.50, Level 2 $13.00 to be effective November 15, 2017. passed with a motion by Joe Barnes and a second by Larry Morphew.

Motion Passed:  Approved Status Change for Mike Burgess at Ohio Co Park to move to Maintenance II Level 1 $12.50 per hour effective February 18, 2018 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved the hiring of Robert Hillerich as Part Time Custodian/Maintenance at the Courthouse at $10.00 per hour effective February 11, 2018 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved to pay the remaining bills for the Rosine Museum Project totaling $17,642.98 because the budget went over. This is an exception to a previous motion that was made to limit the total spending on the Rosine Museum Project to $300,000. This will be the final payments. Transfer from L.G.E.A. Reserves account 04-9200-999-0 $17,642.98 into Rosine Museum Project account 04-5075-703-0 to pay the following bills: Likens $6,400, Black Const $5,625, Ohio Co Tourism (reimb carpenter work) $632.98 and Beaver Dam Building Supply $4,985 and to authorize County Treasurer to issue checks passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Larry Keown.

Motion Passed:  Approved the purchase of an oil distributor totaling $10,000 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Larry Morphew.

Wanted Citizens to know that every effort is being made to address road safety issues as quickly as possible.  

1.  Requested the Horton Spur be viewed by the Road Viewing Committee appointed tonight.  Horton Spur is apx 500' and has 3 dwellings.   2.  Informed court that a committee meeting concerning the Animal Control Ordinance would be held on February 21, 2018 3:30 pm in the old Fiscal Court meeting room.

Inquired about the upcoming Flex Fund money.  Per Judge Executive David Johnston the Magistrates were to review all roads and a meeting would be scheduled for the disbursement of the Flex Funds.  Noted that Shinkle Chappel Road would not be fixed by the State.

Motion Withdrawn:  Approved $25,000 to the Ohio County Area Technology Center for program support was withdrawn by Larry Morphew.

Motion to Amend Passed:  To amend the motion from: "" to: " approve $25,000 to Ohio County Area Technology Center and to Transfer $25,000 from L.G.E.A. Stated Justin Keown, County Attorney would be writing a letter to Cambridge Construction concerning the Clay Leach Bridge Project.  The project was not satisfactory. 

Judge Executive David Johnston informed citizens that the Safety Circuit Rider Program 'Road Safety' would be at the Community Center on February 21, 2018 8:30 am.  Also, $5,000 road signage has been awarded for Rob Roy and Hoopee Hill Roads.
