Motion Passed:  Approved to Amend 2017 Clerk's Annual Order Setting Maximum Amount for Deputies and Assistants to $392,465.00 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Sam Small.

• SHERIFF

Motion Passed:  Approved to Amend 2017 Sheriff's Annual Order Setting Maximum Amount for Deputies and Assistants to $1,172,890.00 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Larry Morphew.

• 2017 TAX RATES

Motion Passed:  Approved the compensating rate of 7.3% for the 2017 Real Property Tax Rates passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Joe Barnes.

Motion Passed:  Approved the compensating rate of 7.3% for the 2017 Personal Tax Rates passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Larry Morphew.

Motion Passed:  Approved the compensating rate of 6.3% for the 2017 Motor Vehicle and Watercraft Tax Rates passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Joe Barnes.

Motion Withdrawn:  Approved for the closing on the Horse Branch Senior Center Authorizing Judge Executive David Johnston and County Treasurer Anne Melton to sign all corresponding documents was withdrawn by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved the 2017 Public Health Tax of 4.0 for real property, 4.0 for personal property, 4.0 motor vehicles. Approved by the Department for Public Health July 12, 2017 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Joe Barnes.

Motion Passed:  Approved Building bid for the Ohio County park as follows: 40’x60’x12’, (1) 10’x12’ Roll up Insulated Door, (1) 36” Walk in Door, 4” Concrete, Double Bubble Insulated Walls and Ceiling. In the amount of $21,723.00 passed with a motion by Joe Barnes and a second by Larry Morphew.

Agreement to donate $2,500.00 a piece to Trail Town Task Force from Dist 1 Sam Small, Dist 3 Joe Barnes, Dist 4 Larry Keown, and Judge Executive David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved Animal Shelter Personnel New Hire of Kevin Crum as Animal Shelter Manager at $12.00 per hour effective August 27, 2017 passed with a motion by David Johnston.

Motion Passed:  Approved Park Personnel Status change of Beau Wright as Parks and Recreation Director from Hourly Rate of $15.33 per hour to Salary Exempt at $40,000.00 per year passed with a motion by David Johnston.
