Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to approve to implement in the Administrative Code to put in a Re-Call Policy as stated: A previously termed (Seasonal) employee may be re-called to employment by the department's supervisor if an employee has worked with the Ohio County Fiscal Court within the past 12 months. An employee recalled must have worked in that specific department that he/she is being recalled to. Upon recall, employee must go to the payroll department to update personnel information before beginning work. This motion shall be an amendment to administrative code passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Kenny Autry.

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to hire Ronnie Schroader at the Ohio County Detention Center at $10.50 per hour effective January 12, 2014 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Michael McKenney.

11. Clerk's Office Personnel-Bess Ralph

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to approve to hire at the County Clerk's Office Anthony Morgan, Full-Time at $10.75 per hour effective January 26, 2014 passed with a motion by David Johnston and a second by Michael McKenney.

Motion Passed:  Motion made for the Court to approve the contract for Bill Smith until December 31, 2014 passed with a motion by Larry Keown and a second by Michael McKenney.

12. Open Bids for County Mowing-Michael McKenney
Discussion

No action was taken. (2) bids were received: Bid (1) received from Darrell Leach for mowing once at $75 per hour, all (3) sections, for $49,500 for all sections ($16,500 each section). Bid (2) received from B.J. Ward contracting, LLC. for mowing at $75 per hour for section (1)and $17,823.20 for each time mowed. Both bids were to be looked at by the Road Committee and bid will go back on the agenda for the next Court meeting on February 11, 2014.

13. O.C.E.D.A. Ordiance 2014-3 1st Reading-Kenny Autry
