Council recommended looking into a testing window that was towards the end of the window, broke testing up between the weekend and split reading due to long reading passages.

Writing Policy Review
After discussing the Writing Policy Council decided it needed to be revised for the 2013-14 school year to align with the Three Modes of Writing.

Comments from the Audience
Mr. Palm updated council on the Budget Outlook and discussed reductions based on Federal, State and Attendance along with replacement of a boiler and insurance liability costs. These reductions are likely to impact allocations for the 2013-14 school year.
Ms. Boyers provided updates on Reading Counts Quizzes, Read Across America Week, Library Pass Usage and ILP Reports.
