Comments from the Audience
Mr. Palm updated council on the following items:
1) Middle School Athletics are required to have certified coaches this year. This means only volunteers who have received the training will be able to coach or assist with coaching.
2) A reporter from CN2 was at Southgate last week doing a report on Independent School Districts.
3) The General Assembly is still considering legislation to delay the start of a school year until after August.
4) The NKCES polled superintendents about feedback from the content network meetings. The feedback showed districts didn't feel they were getting what they needed from the training.
