Discussion

Council discussed the 2014-15 program reviews. Improvements have been made toward proficiency. Council discussed the World Language/Global Competencies review and the work needed for it to be proficient.

Discussion

Council was updated on the current open positions at Southgate.

6. Comments from the audience
Discussion

Mr. Palm updated Council on the following items:

1) There will be a new Commissioner of Education for Kentucky in the Fall of 2015. Superintendents have been asked to provide input on what qualities they would like to see in the next commissioner.

2) There will be a new Executive Director for the NKCES. Mr. Palm will attend a meeting regarding the job description for the new executive director.

3) Mr. Palm reported enrollment has remained steady during this school year and ADA should be fine for next year.
