Each Year the Board of Education is required to adopt the tax rate for the fiscal year and submit adopted rate(s) to the State of Kentucky as well as the county clerk for distribution of tax bills.  Option 2 at a rate of 92.50 with a 0.20 exoneration for a grand total of 92.70 cents is being recommended.  Exonerations may be added to the above 92.50 property rate to recover prior year losses due to exonerations (KRS 134.590).

The Motor Vehicle Tax Levy for FY 2023-2024 is 85.9 cents per $100 valuation.
