2023 Fall Surplus

Pursuant to CIPS Policy 04.8 Disposal of School Property. Items listed are to be sold as surplus. Bids will be open to the public for ten days by website, newspaper advertising, and district wide email. After the ten-day window closes, bids received will be presented to the Board for approval.

School Council Meeting Minutes ~ September
Pursuant to Policy 02.423, School Council Meetings (SBDM), a copy of the minutes of each council meeting shall be forwarded by the Principal to the Superintendent who shall keep the Board informed of the council actions.

First Month Attendance Report

This is a monthly agenda item used to keep the Board and Administration up to date on attendance and enrollment figures. This report contains the membership and percentage of attendance for students by grade, by school and compares to the last five year’s monthly enrollment figures.

2023-2024 Equity Series Proposal
Mr. Scott Alter, Assistant Superintendent of Learning Support
The 2023-2024 Equity Series proposal, in conjunction with Millennium Learning Concepts and Dr. Roger Cleveland and his team will provide four Equity Series virtual presentations. Each session will last 75 minutes. All sessions will be recorded for future use.
The four session topics will be:
- Connecting with Diverse Families
- SEL & Self-Care for Staff and Faculty
- Building an Anti-Bullying School Culture
- Instructional Strategies for ELL Students

The Kentucky Department of Education requires Covington Independent Public Schools to approve the BG-5 Form to reflect the final project cost. After the BG-5 is approved with KDE, the unspent residual funds that are available can be used for other BG-1 capital projects. Please see the attached BG-5 Form.
For this project there are NO residual funds.
