Pursuant to KRS 160.270 the Covington Board of Education has been called to a special meeting by Mr. Alvin L. Garrison, Secretary to the Board, upon petition of Mr. Tom Haggard, Chairman of the Board.  The meeting will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023, 5:30 p.m., at the Covington Board of Education, 25 E 7^th Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011.

This notice was provided to all news media and an original copy was posted at the entrance of the School District Administrative Building on the date below. Pursuant to KRS 61.810(1) and KRS 1569.557, portions of this meeting will be conducted in closed session.

Discussion and action at this meeting will be limited to the item(s) contained in this agenda.

Executive Session ~ Pursuant to KRS 61.810(f), KRS 61.810(1)(k) and KRS 156.577 KRS 156.557 provides that the Board’s preliminary discussions relating to the Evaluation of the Superintendent be in executive session. Discussions or hearings which might lead to the appointment, discipline, or dismissal of an individual employee.
