Discussion

Mr. Booher presented the Principal's Combining Budget which is the internal budget of the high school that is outside of SBDM Council money. 

Mr. Booher presented the SBDM Council budget allocations total amount for the 2020-2021 school year. The $80,104 is calculated by total number of students and money from the state and Pikeville Independent Board of Education.

Discussion

Mr. Booher presented that the high school staffing allocations will remain the same from 2019-2020 to 2020-2021. 

Ms. Kennon (HS Science) has announced she will retire. Mr. Booher recommends to replace a with another HS Science teacher. The consensus of the the Council is in agreement with replacing with a new high school science teacher.

Mr. Booher presented that the high school is in good shape in terms of the 2019-2020 budget.

V.b. Panther Report

Mr. Booher presented the Panther Report.

This Friday, May 15th will be the final day for students. The last day for work to be accepted will be May 22nd. The last Day for Teachers will be Wednesday May 27th. PHS Class of 2020 Graduation will be filmed on May 28th & May 29th by WPRG. There is a plan for an in-person Graduation to take place on Sunday July 26th. Friday May 22nd will be the PHS ESPYs Athletic Awards show. Friday May 29th will be the Academic Awards show. Scheduling for classes next year will be taking place soon. Ms. Susan Kennon will retire after a long career at PHS.
