Discussion

Amanda Hartsock presented the Council with information regarding the continuation plan for the FRYSC Program for the district which requires the Council to be presented with this information and the signature pf the PHS principal.

Discussion

Mr. Booher updated the Council on recent happenings and upcoming events for PHS. Reports Cards were sent home on Friday January 10th for the 2nd 9 weeks/1st semester. On February 6th the Junior class will attend the ACT Boot Camp with a site to be determined. The BETA Club will be leaving for their annual State competition this weekend in Louisville, KY. The 4-H Reality Store will take place this Thursday at the Pike County Extension Office. 2nd Semester Bus Evacuation Drills have been completed. January's Fire Alarm drill has been conducted. The Teacher Christmas Party at Hibachi was a successful event. All faculty and staff present received a donated Christmas gift. The Boys Basketball team won the 67th Annual PIT. Eric Green is currently ranked 8th in the State in his weight class in Wrestling. He recently won a tournament at Tates Creek High School. The Archery program hosted a tournament with over 500 participants from three different states.

Discussion

Upon exiting closed session, Mr. Booher announced the expected hires of Shane Carr as the Junior High Softball Coach and Blake and Kelly Keathley as co-head coaches for Junior High Track & Field.
