Mrs. Prater discussed the Beautiful Tomorrow School Assembly from Shane Carr at Pikeville FBC. Mr. Booher will find out if this program could be held in the evening.

Band: Horse show, spaghetti lunch, car show

Softball: stadium chairs, softball camp, pies, apparel, applebees pancake breakfast, signs, peanuts from Texas Roadhouse, socks, alumni softball game

Dance Team: Little Ceasars Pizzas, Rada

Archery: apparel, hand warmers, pumpkins and fall festival, engraved items

Cheer: cheer with the champs, plunder, frames/prints

Girls Soccer: t-shirts, pizza kits, movie night, popcorn sales, sweatshirts, jv tournament, advertisements, cushions, megaphones, clappers, yard signs, soccer camp 

Junior High Volleyball: keychains, Texas Roadhouse Peanuts, Old Ky Chocolates

Chorus: Mixed Bag Designs, Bumblebee pretzel rods, cheesecakes/frozen goods

CSIP reviewed by all members. Each member discussed the gap group, food for ESS and learning targets.

Mr. Booher reported about successful 7th grade orientation and registration, first three days with teachers and professional development, allstar video has more than 24,000 views, class meetings this past Friday, Ms. Cooley recognized at UK, and we are seeking a high school academic coach.

Motion Passed:  Approve entering into closed session (general nature of business), (reason for the closed session) pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1) (?) to passed with a motion by Mr. Lyle Blackburn and a second by Mr. Brandon Blackburn and the consensus of the council.

Motion Passed:  Motion to return to regular session passed with a motion by Mr. Brandon Blackburn and a second by Mrs. Rebecca King and the consensus of the council.

Subsidiary Motion Passed:  Approve entering into closed session (general nature of business), (reason for the closed session) pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1) (?) to passed with a motion by Mrs. Rebecca King and a second by Mr. Lyle Blackburn and the consensus of the council.

Discussion

After consultation during 1st closed session, Mr. Booher announced Will Branham as Girls Golf Coach and Kristy Orem as Athletic Director. 

 

Brandon Blackburn and Kelly Wells exited the meeting after the first closed session at 5:23 pm.
