Motion Passed:  Motion to add to uniform policy: "Teams may not purchase uniforms outside of this plan. Booster clubs must still follow Title IX laws. Replacements may be purchased between rotation cycles." The current rotation cycle will also be attached to the policy passed with a motion by Mrs. Jennifer Ratliff and a second by Mr. Brandon Blackburn and the consensus of the council.

Motion Passed:  Motion to take out major and minor sports wording (all sports considered) and add wrestling and archery to varsity awards policy passed with a motion by Mrs. Jennifer Ratliff and a second by Mr. Brandon Blackburn and the consensus of the council.

Mr. Thomas discussed two new national board certified teachers, Mrs. King and Mrs. Webb, Teacher of the week for the Appalachian News Express, Paula Smith, the new bell system, successful winter band choral concerts and play, the gym floor was refinished, and cheerleaders competed in Lexington and qualified for Nationals.
