Staffing allocation update.

Staffing request to Board of Education
In an attempt to better utilize chronically vacant positions allocated to the high school to improve student achievement, it is requested that LCHS be allowed to combine three classified positions to create a Dean of Student Discipline. This position will allow duties to be re-structured among administrators to ensure work typically completed in one of the attendance clerk positions gets completed (and not lost in constant turnover). The Dean of Student Discipline will take a load of discipline off of one of the Assistant Principals which will allow that employee to complete home visits, attendance reports etc.
