5.1. Attendance
Discussion

Approximately 160 students have had 95% or better attendance this year with 12 being perfect to this point.  The Build a Bobcat incentives have seemed to help with this.

6. Budget/Finance
6.1. SBDM Funds
Discussion

The money remaining is SBDM funds is set aside for the copy machine.

6.2. District Activity Funds
Discussion

District activity funds has approximately $3500 for school use, with approximately $6000 in the Library fund from book fairs.

6.3. Title I Funds

The council discussed Title funds

7. Curriculum/Academics
7.1. MAP Testing May 9-May 13
Discussion

The council discussed the schedule for MAP  testing and the use of tutors to help make the process smoother.  If students are absent, the assessment will be made up the next week.

7.2. Awards Days May 26-28
Discussion

Awards days will be two classes at a time like last year.  The 26th will be first grade, 27th will be second grade, and kindergarten will be doing an advancement ceremony with a song, what they learned  and students dressing up (No cap and gowns).  

7.3. Preschool Graduation May 22
Discussion

There will be two preschool graduations to ensure there will be room for anyone wishing to attend.  The theme will be The Places we Will Go.

7.4. Kinder-camp July 20-July 24

Plans are underway for kinder-camp.  This event will take place July 20-July 24 from 10:00-2:00 each day.

8.1. 2nd Reading of Arrival and Dismissal Procedure Policy

The second reading of the Drop off/Pick up policy was discussed and approved by the councl.

9.1. Review and monitor plan

The council reviewed the CSIP.

Discussion

The council discussed including a Leader in Me time to the schedule.  Mr. Fugate discussed the training the staff has had and the excitement that seems to be buidling.
