Approval of Agenda
Motion Passed: Approval of minutes passed with a motion by Wanda Noble and a second by Amanda Neace and the consensus of the council.

Budget/Finance
4.1.
SBDM Funds
The SBDM Council reviewed the budget, we have a few questions and will be looking back on it.
4.2.
District Activity Funds
There is approximately $7,000 currently in the school district activity funds. We will be using some of these funds to use for an incentive for students. Council discussed the possibility of doing a fundraiser.
4.3.
Title I Funds (Sabrina McElroy)
Title I funds from last year are still available. When new money is available, Sabrina McElroy will come to discuss with council.

New Business
5.1.
Grandparents Day (September 8)
BES will hold an event for grandparents on September 8th. It will include time for the grandparents to come in with students during the school day. It will include a snack and a craft.
5.2.
High attendance day (September 8, 2025)
High attendance day will be on Sept. 9th. Council discussed ideas to do for this day.
6.
Curriculum/Academics
6.1.
MAP Benchmarking Assessment K-2
The testing window for MAP opens on August 18th. K-2 will complete the MAP benchmarking assessment.
6.2.
PELI Preschool
Students will start taking the benchmark assessment in August and finish in September.
6.3.
Brigance
The students who came to Kindergarten Camp completed the Brigance test during that week. Some students will need to complete this again.
6.4.
MAP Fluency K-2
Students in K-2 will complete the MAP fluency.

Policy/Policy Review
7.1.
Pick Up and Drop Off Policy Review
The council reviewed the policy and made changes.

CSIP
The council reviewed the CSIP
