The council discussed the district's new Leader in Me initiative and how the school will look for ways to incorporate ideas into the school culture.

Discussed Portrait of a Learner and how the entire community is being involved in having a clear vision of what the students in our area need to know to succed.

Kindergarten Camp will be between July 28-August 1.  There are currently 31 students registered.  Postcards will be sent to all incoming kindergarten students to remind them of the event and allow them to register for the camp.

Budgets were reviewed.

Acadience data was discussed.  The highlights were approximately 53% of students benchmarked in reading with nearly 60% benchmarking in math.  Kindergarten students were near 70% in each area.

Council reviewed by laws.

Council discussed goals and discussed need to update materials as we change to some different curriculum for the upcoming year.
