Budget/Finance
4.1.
SBDM Funds
The council reviewed the SBDM budget. At this time there is $12, 270.0 remaining for the year.
4.2.
District Activity Funds
District activity funds has approximately $11,000 after taking the Library funds $4,500 out. The council discussed money for the buses to the movies coming out of this fund.
4.3.
Title I Funds
Sabrina McElroy said that we have a lot of money left in our Title 1 budget that we can spend.

New Business
5.1.
Attendance Incentives
Attendance is a big focus. For incentive, students that did not miss a day in November decorated an ornament to go on a grade level Christmas tree by their classroom. The council decided a reward for the December perfect attendance will be decorating Christmas cookies. Some possible ideas for promoting attendance were ice cream sundaes, a Bobcat ice cream social and Build a Bobcat class challenge. The council will discuss more attendance incentives with the rest of the staff in the near future.
5.2.
Christmas Activities
Students in grades K-2 went to Winchester and watched The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. PTO purchases snacks for the trip. The preschool and FMD will watch a movie in the auditorium and have popcorn, candy and a drink afterward. Classes will have their own Christmas parties.

Curriculum/Academics
6.1.
Reading Buddy Stuffed Animal Program
The adoptions have started. Students have been excited to get their pets. Other students have already been talking about wanting to do what they need to so they can get their pets.
6.2.
Acadience Testing
Acadience testing started this week. All testing should be over by the end of the week except for students who are absent.
6.3.
Writing Without Tears
The district will be scheduling training for the Writing without Tears handwriting and cursive writing program.
6.4.
Ideas for more fluency practice (Review/Discuss)
One suggestion was for grade level reading buddies. For example, a fluent first or second grade reader may read to students who are not fluent.
A second suggestion is a Read with Me mentor. This will be an adult in the building that can read with students who have not yet benchmarked.

Policy/Policy Review

Enhancing Student Achievement (Second Reading)
The council reviewed and approved the enhancing student achievement policy.

CSIP
8.1.
Phase 3- Continuous Improvement Plan (Goals and Strategies)
The council reviewed and discussed the goals and strategies for the CIP. The leadership team worked on a rough draft with input from teachers and needs assessment information.

Other Business
9.1.
PRI Family Engagement Night- December 17th
PRI will be hosting a family engagement event on December 17th. This will include photos, games and snacks. It will have a Christmas Whoville theme. It will also include PRI from other schools in the district.
