Motion Passed: approvale of agenda passed with a motion by Mary Caudill and a second by Wanda Noble and the consensus of the council.

Budget/Finance
4.1.
SBDM Funds
There is approximately $12,000 remaining in the SBDM budget at this time. Copier rental continues to come out of the funds monthly.
4.2.
District Activity Funds
There is approximately $14,000 currently in the school district activity funds. This includes funds for the library, which just had a book fair.
4.3.
Title I Funds- Sabrina McElroy
Sabrina McElroy presented this years Title I budget. There is approximately $60,000 remaining to spend. The council discussed purchasing a Christmas book for each student, books to send home, capstone leveled readers and materials for writing independently. Mrs. Noble also discussed purchasing small square tables and the need for a new document camera.

New Business
5.1.
High attendance days (T-shirt incentive)
High attendance days will be this month. Students and staff coming three consecutive days will receive a Breathitt t-shirt that says Attendance Matters on the back of it.
5.2.
Veterans Day (Nov 11, 2024)
For Veterans Day, the school provided a lunch to those who served. Adam Spencer also brought over equipment from the National Guard for students to see and have a picture taken with.

Curriculum/Academics
6.1.
Reading Buddy Stuffed Animal Program
A new reading incentive is going to begin. It is a Reading Buddy Stuffed Animal Program. Students will earn the right to adopt a stuffed animal by meeting certain criteria with reading.
6.2.
Exit Criteria
Mr. Fugate presented the council with a revised exit criteria. This criteria has a points system as discussed. The council wants to accept this and use it as a pilot for this year to see if any changes need to be made before putting it into effect next school year.
6.3.
Preschool curriculum (Review K-readiness)
The district curriculum team is getting some options for preschool curriculums for teachers to review and discuss. The council discussed the need for incoming kindergarten students to be more prepared than they have the past few years.
6.4.
Ideas for more fluency practice
Fluency was discussed, but the council will look for more ideas for practice and come back to the issue.
7.
Policy/Policy Review
7.1.
Enhancing Student Achievement
The council reviewed the Enhancing Student Achievement policy. It will be updated with current information.
8.
CSIP
Phase 3 is due to be completed by January 1st. The council discussed the previous plan and Mr. Fugate said the Leadership Team has already been making changes for the current year.

Other Business
9.1.
Mr. Potato Head attendance incentive
PRI is sponsoring an attendance competition. Each day a grade level has 100% attendance, they will get a piece of a Mr. Potato head. The first grade level to complete heir Mr. Potato Head will get a trip to the Newport Aquarium.
9.2.
Science Guy Program (November 19th)
The students will have a Science program in the gym on 11-19. It will be an interactive science program where students will get a chance to participate. It is being sponsored through PRI.
