Budget/Finance
Will work with finance office to get budget reports worked out. They are not currently showing our school's funds.
6.1.
SBDM Funds
Discussed SBDM budget. Currently about $5,000 remaining. Copier will continue to come out of SBDM funds.
6.2.
District Activity Funds
District fund currently has approximately $14,000. Have not been purchasing out of it.
6.3.
Title I Funds
Sabrina McElroy, Title I coordinator, gave an update on Funds. We are currently using last year's funds.
7.
Curriculum/Academics
7.1.
Bobcat Parent Academy
Parent Bobcat and Guardian is planned for January 25th. It will focus on students in Tier 2 and Tier 3. Parents will receive materials and strategy ideas.
7.2.
Revise reading grade formula
Council discussed revising the reading policy. The council will vote on the policy, or revise again, at the next meeting.
7.3.
Daily fluency monitoring
Reading groups will be formed for all classes. In the small groups, a daily fluency check will take place.

Policy/Policy Review
8.1.
Emergency Plan and AED policy
Discussed the plan, district AED policy will be used by BES.
9.
CSIP
The council monitored the CSIP and discussed the progress being made.

Other Business

Parent engagement activity ideas
The council will work to find more engagement activities for getting parents involved.
