Approve 2020-2021 Comprehensive School Improvement Plan
Motion Passed: passed with a motion by Mrs. Teresa Combs and a second by Mary Kay Caudill and the consensus of the council.
Mr. Fugate gave the council a copy of the 2020-2021 CSIP for MR-C. The council discussed the changes to the CSIP being more user friendly.
7.
Financial Report
Mr. Fugate explained that he could not get a report printed because his password had expired and he didn't realize it. He reported again that 25 iPads were ordered for grades K-2 to take the MAP test and that money came from the District Activity Funds.

Academic Report
8.1.
Student achievement
Mr. Fugate was happy to report that during the county History Bowl, MR-C had 4 students participate and won 1st place. The students that participated were Kylan Combs, Aaden Strong, Aiden Combs, and Kyle Henson. Mr. Fugate also discussed the 6th Grade Showcase, coached by Alonzo Fugate. Mr. Fugate was happy to report that the following students participated: - MRC was 2nd overall
- MRC was 2nd in quick recall - Willie Wagers, Aaden Strong, Cameron Combs, and Jacob Neace
- Math - Willie Wagers (2nd place) and Conner Strong (5th place)
- Science - Cameron Combs (3rd place) and Aaden Strong (5th place)
- Social Studies - Aaden Strong (3rd place)
- Language Arts - Austin Bush (1st place)
- Composition - Mahala Bowling (2nd place) and Willie Wagers (5th place)
9.
Curriculum Update
K-2 teachers participated in the LLI training on November 25 and 26. This is a reading intervention program that the teachers can implement with the students. Mr. Fugate explained that Amplify Science materials have been purchased for all teachers. This is a district level initiative. Training using this program will be provided before the teachers are asked to implement.

Behavior Data
Mr. Fugate discussed that for the month of November, there had been 14 behavior referrals (6 on the bus, 5 in the classroom, 2 in the hallway, and 1 in the cafeteria). This is up from only 7 referrals in the month of October. Mr. Fugate also informed the council that the 2nd round of of behavior screener would be completed on December 13.

The council read and discussed the second reading of the technology policy.

Informational items
Mr. Fugate explained to the council that the Annual Christmas Program would be held on December 19th beginning at 6:00 pm. The students would be performing a play for the community on this evening. Then the students would be doing a school performance on December 20th in the morning.
