Order #3773 - Motion Passed:  Motion to Adopt Agenda passed with a motion by Ms. Barkley Taylor and a second by Ms. Suzanne Wilson.

Mr. Chris Kidwell, Associate Superintendent/Finance Director, was present and provided the Board information and tax rate considerations.

After the tax rate considerations were presented by Mr. Kidwell, Mr. Harold Wilkerson, Ms. Sue Smith and Mr. Willard Smith addressed the Board with concerns regarding a tax increase.

Mr. Kirby Smith, Superintendent, recommended that the Board vote and adopt the KDE recommended 4% tax increase rate to 65.4.

Order #3774 - Motion Passed:  Motion was made to approve and adopt the KDE recommended 4% tax increase to 65.4 for the 2017-2018 real and personal property taxes passed with a motion by Ms. Suzanne Wilson and a second by Ms. Barkley Taylor.

Order #3775 - Motion Passed:  A Motion was made to adjourn the Board Meeting at 7:23 p.m. for a break before the Board Member Work Session began passed with a motion by Ms. Suzanne Wilson and a second by Mr. Mitch Overstreet.

Order #3776 - Motion Passed:  A Motion was made to call the Board Meeting back into session at 7:29 p.m. to proceed with the Board Member Work Session passed with a motion by Mr. Mitch Overstreet and a second by Ms. Barkley Taylor.
