The special meeting of the Breathitt County Board of Education was called to order by Chairperson Ruschelle Hamilton at

II. Consider approval of the Supplemental School Year Plan, per the provisions of SB128. (Plan is subject to revisions).
Actions Taken

Order #357 - Motion Passed:  Based upon the recommendation of Superintendent Phillip Wats, approval of the Supplemental School Year Plan, per the provisions of SB128 passed with a motion by Mr. Albert Little and a second by Ms. Anna Morris.

III. Consider approval of the Breathitt County Schools Virtual Learning admission application and process, contingent upon board counsel review (Plan is subject to revisions).
Actions Taken

Order #358 - Motion Passed:  Based upon the recommendation of Superintendent Philip Watts, approval of the Breathitt County Schools Virtual Learning admission application and process passed with a motion by Ms. Anna Morris and a second by Mrs. Rebecca Watkins.

IV. Consider accepting the flood grant from the School Facilities Construction Commission in the amount of $9,600,572. Grant includes: Breathitt County Area Technology Center - $6,896,172, Breathitt County Bobcat Den (Fieldhouse) - $1,760,000, Breathitt County Training Facility - $456,000, and Breathitt County High School Coliseum Art Room - $488,400. The funds are to be used only for construction, repair, or renovation of the facilities that were damaged by flooding in February of this year.

VI. Consider approval of the low bid from Bri-Den Roofing Company for the Sebastian Roof Replacement Project for a total construction cost of $1,090,000 which includes the contractor amount of $699,826.94 plus $424,173.06 in Direct Purchase Orders.
