Special Board Meeting
I. Call to Order/Roll Call
II. Consider approval of the Schematic Design Documents for submittal to the Kentucky Department of Education for the proposed renovation of select areas of the existing Sebastian Middle School in order to convert the facility into an Elementary School. The scope of work covered by the documents included the addition of a secure vestibule; renovation of the existing locker rooms into (2) classrooms and a gang restroom for boys and girls; renovation of the central locker area into an SRO Office and removal of the existing lockers and bases for conversion into office space. The KDE approved BG-1 has classified this project is a Tier 2 project. Tier 2 classification requires only 2 drawing submissions for review by KDE. This submission of Schematic Design is the first of these 2 required submissions, the second of which will cover all Construction Documents and will include BG-2 and BG-3 submittals.
