5.1. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Bernetta Chadwick and Holly Cox, along with teachers Susan Biggs and Jackie Criswell for being selected for the "Be The Example" award.
5.2. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Peggy and Drew Kazee for their generous donation to the Boyd County High School NJROTC Air Rifle Team.
5.3. Superintendent Boblett and Assistant Superintendent Spade will recognize Emily Borders, Courtney Brickey, Elizabeth Cherry, Rachel Klemme, Stephanie Meenach, Jessica Rigsby, Jessica Sasser, Pennie Thomas; for the completion of LETRS for Teachers Training.

9. Action Items
9.1. Upon recommendation of the Board of Education review and approve Superintendent Contract effective July 1, 2026 between the Board of Education of Boyd County and William Boblett, Jr. The Superintendent is hired and retained for a term commencing July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030 as Superintendent of Schools for the Boyd County Public School District. (See Attachment)
9.2. Approve Superintendents recommendation to approve the Memorandum (MOA) of agreement between Boyd County School District and KEDC GEAR UP : Project ELEVATE partnership Grant. (see attachments)
9.3. Review Superintendents recommendation to approve the job description of the funding source GEAR -UP ELEVATE Success Coach. The Success Coach will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic, social-emotional, and college/career readiness development of middle and high school students within Boyd County.(See attachment)
9.4. Review Superintendents recommendation to approve the salary schedule for the funding source GEAR-UP ELEVATE Success Coach. (See attachments)
9.5. Review Superintendents recommendation to allow permission to apply for the KEMI Safety Grant Application Program beginning 2026.
9.6. Review request from Bob Higginbotham, Director of Operations and Facilities to approve the 2025 District Facilities Plan Public Hearing Report that is attached. This is the final step prior to sending to KDE.
9.7. Approve Boyd County Early Childhood Academy Director Stephanie Lyon's recommendation to change employee #2543 contracted hours from 185, 7 hours per day to 190, 8 hours per day, due to increase in job duties three years ago.
9.8. Consider a request to allow Early Childhood Academy Teachers to write and receive grants for the 2025-2026 school year (see attachments)
9.9. Review Superintendent's recommendation to accept the 2026 Kentucky Education Technology System (KETS) Offer of Assistance from the School Facilities Construction Commission (SFCC) in the amount of Twenty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Forty nine Dollars.($29,249) and to follow the statues and regulations of the SFCC and the Kentucky Department of Education governing the Education Technology Funding Program; (See Attachments)

10.6. Consider a fundraiser request for Catlettsburg Elementary to have a dance, family movie night, enchanted evening, pick a pumpkin and bluegrass concert, all proceeds will go to safety patrol end of the year trip.
10.7. Review the recommendation of Jana Osborne Principal at Catlettsburg Elementary to approve a building use request from Cameron Cook to use the concession to sell food for a concert on November 1 ,2025 from 10:00am to 11:00pm;All money received will benefit the Safety Patrol (see attachment)
10.8. Review the recommendation of Kelly Fox Principal at Boyd County High School to approve a building use request from Oran Smith to use the Gymnasium for a Tri-state youth cheer showdown on November 16,2025 from 1:00 to 5:00; (see attachment)
10.9. Consider fundraiser request for BCHS to sell T shirts and have a book fair. All money received will help support the senior class and the library.
10.10. Consider a fundraiser request from Cannonsburg PTO to host a Texas Roadhouse dine and donate to help with funds needed throughout the year for the school.
10.11. Consider a fundraiser request from Cannonsburg Archery Coaches to sell concessions, door entry fee, and admission fees, to help with awards, and archery stuff needed.
10.12. Consider a Fundraiser request from Cannonsburg Elementary to have a Santa Workshop, all money will support the 1st grade students.
10.13. Consider a fundraiser request for Summit Elementary Archery Team to sell concession stand food to help with tournament registration, equipment, shirts, and awards.
10.14. Consider a fundraiser request for BCHS BETA club to sell pizza kits to help students with volunteer hours. All money received will benefit the BETA club.
10.15. Consider fundraiser request for BCHS boys basketball youth league to have concessions, gate fees. All money will support boys basketball to help with meals, travel expenses, gear and equipment.
10.16. Consider fundraiser request for BCMS to sell t shirts, school spirit items, World's Finest Chocolates, Takis, TSA fill the logo, and McDonalds saving cards. All money collected will support students, teachers, and staff, 7th grade, and TSA club.
10.17. Consider a fundraiser request from Catlettsburg Elementary to have a fundraiser for Tom's coffee truck, penny war. All money received will support the 2nd grade for field trips.
10.18. Consider a Fundraiser request from Catlettsburg's PTO to have popcorn and water throughout the year, to sell flowers, jingle bell hop dance, hot dog and concession sale, boo grams, Santa's workshop. All money received will go to Catlettsburg students.
10.19. Consider a fundraiser for Boyd County Technical Center HOSA Health Professionals to sell Right Response First Aid Kits. Money will be used for Christmas service opportunity for care baskets.
10.20. Consider Superintendents recommendation to allow Summit Elementary, Cannonsburg Elementary, Ponderosa Elementary and Catlettsburg Elementary permission to apply for the Read to Achieve Grant.
10.21. Consider the Superintendent's recommendation to approve a field trip to King's Island in Mason, Ohio for the Boyd County High School NJROTC November 1, 2025; (See Attachments)
